Results for the first quarter of fiscal 2014 include those of Statoil Fuel & Retail for the period from May 1st, 2013 to July 21, 2013 (82 days) while results for the first quarter of fiscal 2013 included Statoil Fuel & Retail's for a period of ten days only. Net earnings of $255.0 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2014, up 147.8%. Excluding the non-recurring items, net earnings would have been approximately $220.0 million compared with $182.0 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2013, an increase of 21.0%.
